Website Design
The following are a few web sites and web pages I have
designed (some cooperatively with Joe Kadlec).
- WebSiteAdministrator is a web-based application I developed while working
at Open Finance Technologies over
the summer of 2000. The application allows branding of web-based products
through an easy to use interface, with a large MS SQL Server database as the
backend. No demo is available, since OFT retains all rights to the code.
- JSPTetris is another "2 hour Tetris," written as an experiment in
JavaBeans and Java Server Pages (JSP). It is implemented as a multi-player,
server-side script. Horribly infeasible as an actual implementation of Tetris,
but it was a fun way to learn the technologies.
- ACDParse/ACDReportGen is a set of two programs written to work together.
One reads data (through the serial port) from an ACD (Automatic Call
Dispersal) machine, and stores it into a database in real-time. The report
generator is a web-application that allows a user to query the database with a
number of options in order to generate a meaningful report of usage data. This
was also written while at Open Finance Technologies, and I am not able to
include the program in this portfolio.
- SlideShow is a cross-browser JavaScript based slide show program that
allows a user to enter in a list of slides by either filenames or URLs of
images. It stores the slide show and visitor information in cookies. This was
written for an internet programming class.
- POPMail is a simple, insecure, web-based POP3 email client designed for
use with FlashMail. This was written in
Perl CGI and JavaScript for an internet programming class.
